Why is the Copperhouse Wine Club different from other

wine Subscription Services?

Most wine clubs offer unique, high quality wines and our wine club is no different but unlike almost every other wine club in the country, our wines will be distributed year round. Gone are the days of the massive spring delivery for the stockpile of wines that could not be shipped to you during the winter months, cause us Northerners know that enjoying wine is not a seasonal activity.

How does the Copperhouse Wine Club Work?

Our Wine Club is a subscription-based service. Each month, our curator, Gurvinder Bhatia will source and select wines exclusively available through our wine club. These wines will be consolidated and available for pickup at Copperhouse Eatery + Lounge.

How do I Sign Up?

All wine club subscriptions are initiated through our wine club enrollment form. Once your enrollment form is submitted, you’ll be setup in our system and you will receive a welcome email containing your member’s only discount code along with additional details about the club.

How Many Bottles of Wine are included in

each subscription?

We offer a number of two bottle options in both SELECT and PREMIUM subscription options. While NWT liquor regulations limit us to distributing a maximum of two bottles of wine per day per member, additional subscriptions can be purchased. It just means that you’ll have to pop by to see us more than just once, but rest assured, you’ll be greeted with a warm smile each time.

I’d Like to Purchase a Term Subscription as a gift for

someone. Is this an option?

Giving can be more fun than receiving (although this is debatable for wines) so of course we’ve thought of that. Gift subscriptions are available in 1, 2 or 3 month options. See the Gift Subscription section of our Wine Club Ordering Site for details.

How Are the Wines Selected?

We have partnered with Gurvinder Bhatia, a leading wine expert to select and source all of our wines. Gurvinder is a wine editor, wine columnist, wine judge and expert in anything wine-related. Gurvinder believes that wine and food get their context from people, place, culture and history and he is passionate about quality, independent producers from around the world whose wines have a sense of place and tell a story of where they are grown. Our wines reflect this passion.

How Does Payment Work?

Once you’ve submitted your wine club enrollment form, you will be setup for automatic payment on your credit card each month. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before the 10th of the month prior to delivery. This 20 day lead time allows us to adjust our wine order for that month.

When Do I pickup my Wine?

All subscriptions will be available for pickup the first week of every month. An email notification will be sent out letting you know when your wines can be picked up. Pickups can be done in store or at the drive through window.

Am I Able to Purchase Additional Bottles

of My Favourite Wine club Wines?

Of course! Wine club selections will be available to purchase online through our wine club ordering site or for dine-in at the restaurant. Wine club member discounts will be available.

Who Can Sign up for the Club?

As with all alcoholic beverages, Wine Club members must be 19 years of age or older and must be able to produce valid government issued photo ID when picking up their subscription.

I don’t Live in Yellowknife. Can I Still Sign Up?

For the time-being, wine subscriptions will only be available for pickup at Copperhouse. If you’ve got someone that can pick it up on your behalf, by all means, we’d love to have you!
